Tom likes to bake yummy things. One day he bakes 12 chocolate cookies.

Tom calls his friends Lulu and Moe. Come to my house at two oclock for a party. I have something yummy to share, says Tom.

Tom puts three plates on the table. He puts four cookies on each plate. I like to be fair when I share, says Tom.

But Tom is hungry. He cant wait until two oclock. He eats up （吃光） the cookies on his plate.

Tom tries to put an equal number of cookies on four plates. But he cant do it.

Lulu and Moe will be mad if I am not fair. Tom thinks. So he eats up all the cookies.

Tom looks at the clock. I must bake something yummy for my friends! he says.
